Watching backyard chickens go about their business is kind of like watching wind rustle through a tree, or rain falling on the grass. Anything that you can just sit there and watch for a while, add the chickens.

Ground to Ground 
I love it when they are scratching for food and jump back, have a look and resume scratching again. One of my favourite past times. Chook watching 🙂

Certainly adds something to the garden with chickens in it. You can see the touch of man in them; being domesticated over such a long period of time means there is a special relationship between us. Sure society don’t treat them well for the main part, but I reckon most backyard chooks are doing well.
