My Countnix Quail Article in City Permaculture 2!

I grew up with dreams of becoming a published author in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

Robot Attack!

The story was always a variation of a robot and everything ‘up there’ we call Space. In sci-fi, the robot had a laser and flew around on a rocket.

The fantasy one had a magical robot on a quest saving some alien princess. For horror, the robot had a long kitchen knife and heard alien poltergeist voices ‘REDRUM REDRUM!!’.

So imagine my surprise when I started getting published by Earth Garden, who to the best of my knowledge have no books out on robot horticulturist green thumbs, although in some sad geeky way it would be fun to write about that.

This City Permaculture Volume 2 is a great read!

And what do we have here then? A little something about keeping Quail in the suburbs.

I’m proud to be included in this quality publication, and do enjoy being able to reach out in print. In addition to my article is a massive amount of information tailored to city living . Grab a copy, sit back and enjoy.

If you are yet to discover the joys of keeping Japanese Quail, here is a sneak peek.

You may have noticed that I am a big fan of these little birds, and if you have any questions just get in touch via the comments below.

    • What they live in now is in three hutches joined together, with each one being approx 4 foot by 2 by 2, or thereabouts. Am working on another post now about how to house quail so will have a video of the whole thing to show you soon.
